Hiring a car is a great option for independent travellers. The freedom to go anywhere at any time makes it worth the cost. But car rental isn’t always the most expensive option. Shared between several people renting a car can be one of the most affordable ways to get to and from the airport and around Kusadasi. You’ll have the car for the entire time so you will also save on transport to the beaches and tourist attractions.

It is possible to get to Kusadasi by train from the airport (Havaalani) but it’s not the most convenient way of travelling.
The nearest train station is Selçuk, at a distance of 18km from the town. From there you can take a bus (every 4 hours) or a taxi.
